This is Not a Blue Collection Collection gets its name from the Treachery of Images, a famous artwork from the 1920s by the Belgian surrealist painter René Magritte. The painting shows the image of a pipe above a declaration, which reads, “This is not a pipe”. Histoires de Parfums takes inspiration from this art, and in this collection explores the line where things go from void to existence, there is a profound depth of possibility; and of course the infinite realm of blue.

This is Not a Blue Bottle 1/.3 is inspired by a molten ring, the dawning of a new energy! This intense and sparkling fragrance is like a bright orange sunset, the intensity of the warmth at the end of a hot day created with Saffron, Rose and Leather. The symbol of the molten ring suggests that everything is infinite, with the days end we know a new day will soon rise. The perfume of fire; the perfume of life and living with vigor!

HOW IT WEARS
This fragrance is an Eau de Parfum and the longevity with Histories de Parfums is generally about 6 – 8 hours, however we really get around 7 hours with this particular scent. After a few hours the Blood Orange mellows on the skin, and the scent becomes a little earthier with the Saffron and Rose. Whilst it opens with a fiery beginning it, softens into something quite gentle (yet still detectable on the skin).
